A deadly missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has killed at least 12 people and injured more than 300, marking a major escalation in the region’s widening conflict. Saudi authorities reported that the victims included citizens of several countries, including Bangladesh and the United States.

The Saudi-led coalition has blamed Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels for the strike. Airport operations were suspended, and flights were disrupted as emergency teams rushed the injured to hospitals. The Houthis had not immediately claimed responsibility for the latest attack.

US President Donald Trump said Washington was considering whether to join Saudi military operations against the rebels, raising fears that the confrontation could spread further across the Middle East.

The attack has intensified concerns over civilian safety, regional security and the potential impact on international aviation and global oil markets.
